“Our trips to Saona”The way my father writes, these are words full of meaning and brimming with family memories.

Saona is the name of the river to which Grandfather Julián and his sons Teodoro and Ramón would go with their mule-drawn cart full of fleeces of wool. There they would spend their days washing the wool, preparing it to be dried, carded, spun, and woven into blankets.

A tribute to our preceding generations which comes in the form of a collection with a thread full of nuances in both its texture and its tones.

The colors in this collection have been designed in collaboration with Hailey Smedley (@Ozetta).She and her work, like our project, also come from family tradition, rooted in the love for her grandmother, who taught her to knit.
