What is Wooldreamers?

The project

Wooldreamers is a project that works with wool from its origin and maintains a direct relationship with the territory where it is produced. We use wool from local flocks, many of them linked to endangered breeds and grazing practices that generate positive impacts on ecosystems.

The project stems from a family history linked to working with wool and is developed entirely in Mota del Cuervo. Here we carry out all the processes, from raw wool to the final yarn, which allows us to guarantee traceability, responsibility, and a direct relationship with everyone involved in the supply chain.

Where the thread is woven with time

The territory and the people

Working locally is a conscious decision. We collaborate with local shepherds and flocks that care for the landscape through grazing, generating a positive impact on their environment. Wool is not just a raw material; it's part of a living system that connects people, animals, and the land.

From wool to yarn

The craft and the process

The craft of working with wool is part of our daily lives. Not as a recreation of the past, but as a living practice that remains active in the present.

In Mota del Cuervo, we carry out the entire process, from the freshly sheared wool to the final yarn. Working this way allows us to maintain real control over each stage, respect the natural rhythms of the material, and sustain the craft over time.

traceability

Our work is based on trust built over time, direct relationships, and transparency. When necessary, we have certifications that validate and document this approach.
