PATTERN – TRIANGLES SWEATER

SKILLS
To knit this infinity cowl you need to know how to perform a provisional cast-on, to knit in the round, to be familiar with the stranded colourwork technique, to work following charted instructions, and to perform a kitchener bind-off. Moreover, it is essential to be able to follow charted instructions, as they are used for the colourwork detail of the cowl and written instructions are not provided.

CONSTRUCTION
This cowl is knit in the round. Starting with a provisional cast-on, the work is joined in the round and is knit following the instructions below. Once the de- sired length has been achieved, the provisional cast-on is removed and the beginning and end of the cowl are grafted together with kitchener stitch.

2 skeins of Origen by Wooldreamers in Colour 1 and
2 skeins of Origen by Wooldreamers in Colour 2 (100% superfine Merino wool; 180 m / 50 g; 197 yd / 1.76 oz).

HEIGHT

CIRCUMFERENCE
116 cm [45.75”].

GAUGE
22 stitches and 32 rounds in 10x10cm [4×4”] in stockinette stitch, without blocking.

NEEDLES
3.5 mm [US 4] with a cable length of 40 cm [16”], or the required needle size to obtain gauge. Another set of needles (they can be a size smaller) to pick up the stitches from the provisional cast-on.

OTHER NOTIONS
1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round. Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
