When we created Wooldreamers, we knew that more than just a project or a dream, this name should be a
enuine human movement. A movement where each action generates a positive impact on the people around us.
Wooldreamers contributes to the promotion, management, and creation of social inclusion activities. Furthermore, we collaborate with Occupational Centers in various tasks throughout the
product-making process that reaches your hands.
WOOL IS CULTURAL HERITAGE
In this social realm, we cannot overlook the cultural and traditional significance. At Wooldreamers, we set the goal of aiding in the dissemination of the culture and tradition associated with wool and textile crafts.
Throughout history, wool has held a paramount importance in our region, with Cuenca being one of the most esteemed provinces for its woolen cloth productions.
Due to the challenges wool has faced over the last 20 years, the crafts associated with it have been fading away.
In fact, it is such a reality that we feel compelled to highlight that currently, there are no degree programs, post-graduate courses, or any public educational activities focused on training new generations for direct work
connected with wool.
HUMAN AND INCLUSIVE MOVEMENT
We care for people. From farmers to those who pack your box so you receive the thread. We value the quality of the thread just as much as the quality of the lives of the people behind each thread.
