Manchelopi is an unspun yarn that is made 100% with Manchega wool. Its colors and its twist-free slivers make this “cheese” a rare and high-quality material with which you will be able to create unique and inimitable clothing.

As for the thickness, due to its double sliver, it will depend on our control of the needles. If we want to knit it in two strands to make it easier for us, we would be facing a thickness of 230m / 100g (DK); on the other hand, if you are one of the highly skilled ones and you dare with a single strand, you will have double the meters: 460m / 100g (Fingering).

One of our most identifying products. Manchelopis is a soft and airy unspun yarn produced entirely in the region of Castilla-La Mancha, a land rich with history and the home of Wooldreamers!

This unique collection was created to honor the Manchega sheep, a breed native to the region, and the source of the well-known Manchego cheese. Commonly raised for dairy rather than their wool; with Manchelopis we aim to highlight the value of this natural fiber.

The “wheel” or “cheese” comes in a 100g format and is available in eleven colors. The unspun 2-ply structure of this yarn allows for it to be worked at a variety of gauges depending on the desired fabric.
