100% Spanish Alpaca

To explain you about this edition, we introduce you to Roberto, a Cantabrian boy married to a Moteña (from our town). And we met last year!

Roberto started a project a few years ago to breed alpacas in Navajeda (Cantabria). His farm ALPACAS DEL MIERA was his great dream come true. There, he cared for his animals with great affection and care.

Unfortunately, due to the great difficulties in processing the alpaca fiber (we did not know each other), Roberto sadly had to give up his dream as it involved an unaffordable expense. When he told me about this one day in Mota and told me: “What a pity you hadn’t shown up before…” I felt compelled to do something.

He told me that he still had some fiber left at home and I didn’t hesitate for a second: “Between the two of us we’ll come up with a collaboration, you’ll see how good it’s going to be!”
