The felt woolpack should only be hand cleaned, avoiding wetting the leather parts. In most cases, it will be sufficient to rub the stained parts with a natural fiber brush and a little water. When drying, ensure that the backpack maintains its original shape by stuffing the interior with a towel or similar material. This is because wool felt has the virtue of retaining the shape it has been given during drying. If pilling occurs in areas with higher friction, remove the pills with a lint comb, and your backpack will look as good as new.
