Swaggy Sweater by @Butzeria

The Swaggy Sweater is created with the flygirls of the 90’s in mind. “A flygirl is a sexy chic with a swag all her own. She is confident and just exudes hawtness! Her outfit fits right in with her personality, and she is always the shutter of all things down!” by Urban Dictionary So let your inner flygirl break out!

I wear the original Swaggy Sweater in pink in size M and my personal bust circumference is approx 84cm. Christine made her Swaggy in white (Manchelopi in natural white and Gepard Kid Seta in color 406), she made a size XL and her personal bust circumference is 107cm.

If you are not ready to knit with unspun yarn yet, replace the Manchelopi with Gepard Puno for example.

Construction
The sweater is knitted from top to bottom with MC and CC1 (cuffs in MC and CC2) held together throughout and in 1×1 ribbing. While shaping the shoulder with increases, you shape the neckline with German short rows. Afterwards, you start to increase the sts for body and sleeves every other round. After body and sleeves are separated, the body is worked first in 1×1 ribbing to under the bust. Then the back is shaped with German short rows again, to make it slightly longer then the Front. Then the sleeves are worked in 1×1 ribbing to the cuffs, without decreases. The cuffs are worked in a staggered 1×1 ribbing in MC held together with CC2.

Yarn
used Wooldreamers, Manchelopi, (100% unspun Manchega wool), DK weight (230m / 251yrds per 100g) with both strands held together throughout in color Rosa (MC), Gepard Garn, Kid Seta (70% Super kid mohair, 30% shappe silk), (210m / 230yrds per 25g) in color 488 Old Rose (CC1), Isager, Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair, 25% silk) (212m / 232yrds per 25g) in color 19 (CC2)

Manchelopi is an unspun yarn that is made 100% with Manchega wool. Its color shades and its twist-free slivers make this “cheese” a rare and high-quality material with which you will be able to create unique and inimitable clothing.

As for the thickness, due to its double sliver, it will depend on our control of the needles. If we want to knit it in two strands to make it easier for us, we would be facing a thickness of 230m / 100g (DK); on the other hand, if you are one of the highly skilled ones and you dare with a single strand, you will have double the meters: 460m / 100g (Fingering).
