The Sand dunes sweater is a hip-length style knit. This sweater is worked top down. Firstly, the Back and the Front parts are worked in rows to the armpit. Next, the Body part is worked in rounds at your desired length. After finishing the main sweater part, the Sleeves and the Neck are worked in rounds. The Sand dunes sweater has a beautiful Slanting stripes stitch pattern that is used throughout the whole sweater. The shoulder line is worked using a Seed stitch pattern. The Neck, Hem, and Cuffs have a double Rib stitch pattern which is joined using lace stitches. This sweater is very pleasant for a cold season and perfectly fits for wearing both at home and outside.

Family and nature are the two most important elements for María Pía, known as “The Brunette”. This is the way she was called in her hometown to be distinguished from her sisters. Her transhumant and ecological flock of white and black merino sheep (listed in danger of extinction) is actually a reflection of her family, which physical differences made them even more special.

This collection is a wink towards this family union and how the vagaries of nature make it possible to create astonishing colors. It is so natural that you will be able to see small traces of the dehesa pastures in your yarn.

In addition, this collection contains a small tribute to our friends from the El Castellar and Asprona Occupational Center, whose labeling drawing has been designed by one of its members, Santi Rodriguez.

In short, a yarn that transmits values:

▶️ Organic Merino Wool from white ⚪️ and black ⚫️ merino sheep (listed as endangered).

▶️ María Pía and her commitment to extensive, transhumant, and ecological livestock. A reference at European level. 🙋‍♀️🇪🇺

▶️ Very special labeling designed by Santi Izquierdo as a tribute to the Occupational Centers that help us with the braiding and labeling of our products. 🎨🎖

▶️ Ecological yarn and wool with OEKOTEX Standard 100 certificate. ♻️

▶️ Traceability 100% guaranteed. From the sheep to your hands. 🔙 🤲🏼

▶️ We minimize carbon emissions compared to other yarns. 🚭
