Manchelopi yarn is used to make the Shawl. Two plates of yarn are needed. It is knitted in garter stitch, but the edging is different and the last rib is in a fun bell rib.

The shawl only comes in one size, but the pattern goes on to tell you how to make it bigger if you want to.

Simple and fast to knit. It’s easy to knit with manchelopi yarn. It doesn’t break very often, but when it does, it’s easy to tie the two ends back together so you can keep knitting without having to worry about weaving in ends at the end of your project.

When washed in water and ready to block, the yarn is very forgiving. You can stretch it quite a lot for your desired size.

Manchelopi is an unspun yarn that is made 100% with Manchega wool. Its color shades and its twist-free slivers make this “cheese” a rare and high-quality material with which you will be able to create unique and inimitable clothing.

As for the thickness, due to its double sliver, it will depend on our control of the needles. If we want to knit it in two strands to make it easier for us, we would be facing a thickness of 230m / 100g (DK); on the other hand, if you are one of the highly skilled ones and you dare with a single strand, you will have double the meters: 460m / 100g (Fingering).
